By Road - As you approach Porthcothan on the B3276 coming from St. Merryn, before you reach The Tredrea Inn there is a lane on the left (opposite a 30 speed limit sign). Take this turn and follow the lane to the very bottom, where you will find a gate leading to Porthcothan Mill Cottage.

By Rail - The closet station is Newquay (25min drive), but Bodmin Parkway is only 5 minutes more and has the benefit of being 25 minutes quicker to get to by train if you are approaching from the north/east. From either station you can take a taxi or hire a car.

By Air - Many airlines operate scheduled flights to Newquay airport which is a 12 minute drive to the cottage.
